The Idaho Foodbank Partners with Law Community in Food From The Bar Campaign

The  Idaho Foodbank’s inaugural Food From The Bar campaign runs through the month of April, culminating on National Law Day. There will be a volunteer event and reception with other firms and legal professionals on May 2nd. The legal community isn’t shying away from the issue of food insecurity – they are taking it on case by case and celebrating the camaraderie in court counsel to benefit a good cause.

This campaign will be a friendly competition among the legal community to raise funds to support The Idaho Foodbank and increase awareness of food insecurity. We are so grateful to our friends at Hawley Troxell who founded this statewide event and who are challenging their colleagues and other legal entities to join in on the effort.

The Idaho Foodbank is looking to get additional law firms and other legal professionals involved throughout the state to sponsor or join the campaign. If you are interested in participating or would like to learn more, you can get in touch with Dalton Warr or Adrienne Swain Smith by calling 208-336-9643 or e-mailing events@idahofoodbank.org.

Participating in the Food From The Bar campaign supports the much-needed programs that supply nutritious food throughout Idaho and strengthen communities. The legal community in Idaho recognizes that hunger doesn’t take a spring break.
