The Idaho Foodbank’s Empty Bowls Fundraiser Starts on Thanksgiving Day

Online Sales of Bowls Begin at 4PM on Thursday

 Meridian, ID – Starting on Thanksgiving Day, online sales begin for The Idaho Foodbank’s Empty Bowls fundraiser. This annual event is an opportunity to purchase a hand-painted or handmade artisan bowl, with proceeds benefitting The Idaho Foodbank.   

 Bowl prices begin at $15 and each bowl includes a $5 Albertsons gift card and soup recipe. 

 Sales begin at 4PM on Thursday, November 23rd. Albertsons is the Presenting Sponsor of Empty Bowls and has been an ongoing supporter of this annual event. You can visit idahofoodbank.org/bowls to view bowls and make purchases.

In the last fiscal year, The Idaho Foodbank served an average of 213,000 people per month. For $5, The Idaho Foodbank can provide food for up to 15 meals.  

 Bowls must be picked up during designated pick-up times, beginning on Wednesday, November 29^th, at The Idaho Foodbank warehouse in Meridian (3630 E. Commercial Court).
