Tyson Foods, Albertsons Provide Truckload of Protein

In conjunction with the Albertsons Boise Open, Tyson Foods, Inc. and Albertsons donated a truckload of product to The Idaho Foodbank. The food went directly to helping Idahoans who are food-insecure.

Representatives from Tyson Foods, Inc., Albertsons and The Idaho Foodbank were on site at a Boise Albertsons location to celebrate the gift with athletes who were competing in the Albertsons Boise Open. I Idaho, there are more than 230,000 Idahoans, including more than 76,000 children, who are food-insecure. Last year, The Idaho Foodbank distributed more than 18.7 million pounds of food, the equivalent of 15.5 million meals.
