United Way Day of Caring – North Central Idaho

Every year The Idaho Foodbank Lewiston warehouse is a volunteer site of the Twin County United Way’s Day of Caring. This annual service day provides community volunteers with a first-hand look at services provided by local nonprofits. The goal is to provide volunteers with meaningful, hands-on projects to assist local nonprofits while they learn more about the organization. The event is intended to promote a spirit of caring throughout the year.
This year, The Idaho Foodbank was happy to host 11 volunteers from the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. They spent their morning with us, packing over 2,400 lbs of oranges that will be distributed across North Central Idaho. We are grateful and proud to serve alongside such awesome volunteers!
