Did you know that Idaho is one of the top 3 producers of dairy in the United States? The Idaho Foodbank is grateful to have a generous dairy industry in our state to help us meet our food distribution nutrition goals, which are guided by the USDA’s MyPlate recommendations. Our nutrition goals are an important way to help the people we serve have healthy, balanced food choices. In fiscal year 2023, 15% of the food we distributed was dairy.
