Event: FREE Heart Healthy Cooking Classes

The cooking series will take place at The Idaho Foodbank’s Teaching Kitchen, located at 3331 10th St., Lewiston, Idaho. The classes will be held on Wednesday, February 21, 2024, and Thursday, February 22, 2024, with two sessions each day from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 5 to 7 p.m. Registration is required and can be done by calling 208.799.5744 or emailing jaclyn.meyers@sjrmc.org.The following dishes will be demonstrated and sampled:10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Class:– Oat Avocado-Berry Breakfast Bars– White Bean and Quinoa Burgers with Avocado– Black Bean Salad5 to 7 p.m. Class:– Eggplant, Cheese, and Tomato Bake– Roasted Beet and Citrus Salad– Peanut Butter Chocolate Cheesecake Dip with Fruit

The Idaho Foodbank would like to invite you to join us in our Teaching Kitchen to enjoy some healthy holiday recipes and learn how to offer a healthier holiday meal to your family. Participants will receive nutritional information, enjoy healthy holiday dishes, and all recipes prepared during class. Space is limited so register early.
