Event: FREE Heart Healthy Cooking Classes
The cooking series will take place at The Idaho Foodbank’s Teaching Kitchen, located at 3331 10th St., Lewiston, Idaho. The classes will be held on Wednesday, February 21, 2024, and Thursday, February 22, 2024, with two sessions each day from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 5 to 7 p.m. Registration is required and can be done by calling 208.799.5744 or emailing jaclyn.meyers@sjrmc.org.The following dishes will be demonstrated and sampled:10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Class:– Oat Avocado-Berry Breakfast Bars– White Bean and Quinoa Burgers with Avocado– Black Bean Salad5 to 7 p.m. Class:– Eggplant, Cheese, and Tomato Bake– Roasted Beet and Citrus Salad– Peanut Butter Chocolate Cheesecake Dip with Fruit

Mark your calendar for December 3rd, because the Santa Fun Run is happening at the Twin Falls Visitors Center at the Perrine Bridge. Get into the Holiday spirit, come dressed as Santa Claus (or not) to run or walk (1 mile or 5k). A donation is suggested to participate with all donations benefitting The Idaho Foodbank. To pre-register, call 801-750-5030, or arrive at 9:00 AM on race day to sign-up.
