Event: FREE Heart Healthy Cooking Classes
The cooking series will take place at The Idaho Foodbank’s Teaching Kitchen, located at 3331 10th St., Lewiston, Idaho. The classes will be held on Wednesday, February 21, 2024, and Thursday, February 22, 2024, with two sessions each day from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 5 to 7 p.m. Registration is required and can be done by calling 208.799.5744 or emailing jaclyn.meyers@sjrmc.org.The following dishes will be demonstrated and sampled:10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Class:– Oat Avocado-Berry Breakfast Bars– White Bean and Quinoa Burgers with Avocado– Black Bean Salad5 to 7 p.m. Class:– Eggplant, Cheese, and Tomato Bake– Roasted Beet and Citrus Salad– Peanut Butter Chocolate Cheesecake Dip with Fruit

LCCU will participate by asking members to donate $10 for a Backpack for our local school. IFB will provide
information about participating schools in each Idaho location of LCCU. All proceeds of this program will stay at
the NC Branch’s Back to School program. LCCU to MATCH the member’s donations.
