Giving Tuesday is a global day of generosity that inspires people everywhere to do good, and at The Idaho Foodbank it’s a powerful opportunity to help ensure our neighbors across Idaho have access to the nutritious food they need, especially during the busy holiday season. This year, every dollar donated on Giving Tuesday will be matched up to $20,000, thanks to the generosity of The Chalfant Family and friends of the Foodbank, doubling your impact for children, families, and seniors facing hunger in communities large and small. By joining the movement, you’re helping to spread generosity, support stability for Idahoans, and make a meaningful difference across our state.

Pack the Plane
Alaska Airlines
It's that time again for Alaska Airlines' 12th annual Pack the Plane Food Drive. During last year’s Pack the Plane food drive, Alaska and Horizon employees packed the equivalent of 25.5 cargo planes. We raised almost $130,000 in financial donations and collected more than 10,000 pounds of canned goods for local food banks, providing a half-million meals. We're virtually packing planes. The number of cargo planes we "pack" is based on overall space and weight load capacity of a Boeing 737-400 freighter aircraft. This year our communities need assistance more than ever.
