The day includes eight hours of entertainment from 9AM to 5PM MDT, provided by people appearing virtually, from wherever they happen to be. In between entertainers of all kinds, we will provide information about our Backpack and School Pantry programs, including how viewers can help us feed Idaho children. Talent ranges from local, familiar faces such as longtime radio personality Kate McGwire and blues musician Dave Wilson, to cooking humorist Pat Mac. A variety of national talents will also be appearing as surprise guests.
Contributions made during the telethon will have double the impact thanks to a generous offer from Optum Idaho to match all gifts up to $10,000 dollars. The entire event will be streamed live to the internet via Facebook, YouTube, and other platforms.
