LCCU Backpack Buddy Program 2023
LCCU will participate by asking members to donate $10 for a Backpack for our local school. IFB will provide information about participating schools in each Idaho location of LCCU. All proceeds of this program will stay at the NC Branch’s Back to School program. LCCU to MATCH the member’s donations.

Back to School – Feed Kids and Fuel Learning
The Idaho Foodbank’s Back to School campaign is a statewide campaign that supports kids across Idaho who are experiencing food insecurity by raising funds for our two school programs, Backpack and School Pantry. The entire month of September, Idahoans will be encouraged to “Feed Kids and Fuel Learning” by becoming Backpack Buddies and helping fill school pantries by making monetary donations. January tends to be a time when donation decrease after the holidays, making it a critical period to support our North Central- Idaho Food Bank and help meet the ongoing needs within our community! At the Idaho Food Bank, they are able to take $5 and provide food for up to 15 meals! We could visit a local grocery store and buy 3 cans of green beans for that much! They can provide up to 15 meals with a monetary donation of $5 versus 3 cans of green beans?? We are hosting our first FB event for Community Feed Forward from January 14 @midnight to February 14th, noon. Please help us promote, share, invite your friends, family and co-workers to our FB event. Help us fund this amazing community resource!
