CROP Hunger Walks are community-based walk fundraising events held in cities and towns across the United States, created in response to hunger, poverty, displacement, and disaster.

The 2026 Ada County CROP Hunger Walk will be held on Sunday, October 11 at 3:00 PM, starting in Julia Davis Park at the Agriculture Pavilion (between the Bandshell and the Zoo, next to the greenbelt/river). Registration starts at 2:30 PM. The 3-mile loop begins on the greenbelt then switches to streets downtown and then back to Julia Davis Park for return. A one-mile loop will also be available.

Seventy-five percent of funds raised will be donated to Church World Service, a faith-based organization transforming communities around the globe through just and sustainable responses to hunger, poverty, displacement, and disaster. A quarter of the funds raised will be donated to The Idaho Foodbank, whose mission is to nourish, educate, and advocate to support thriving, food-secure communities across Idaho.

The Ada County CROP Hunger Walk has set a goal of 150 participating walkers from area churches and hopes to raise a total of $25,000. Please join us on our walk to end hunger!
