Giving Tuesday
Giving Tuesday is a global day of generosity that inspires people everywhere to do good, and at The Idaho Foodbank it’s a powerful opportunity to help ensure our neighbors across Idaho have access to the nutritious food they need, especially during the busy holiday season. This year, every dollar donated on Giving Tuesday will be matched up to $20,000, thanks to the generosity of The Chalfant Family and friends of the Foodbank, doubling your impact for children, families, and seniors facing hunger in communities large and small. By joining the movement, you’re helping to spread generosity, support stability for Idahoans, and make a meaningful difference across our state.

Bank of America Give A Meal campaign

For every $1 donated to Give A Meal, the Bank of America Charitable Foundation will give $2 more to help Feeding America and its network of food banks to provide meals to individuals and families who are food insecure. This nationwide program has been highly successful, helping to provide over 250 million meals over the seven years of this program – over 55 million meals contributed in 2017 alone – and localizing support for over 80% of the Feeding America network members. This is the seventh year we’ve partnered with Feeding America on Give A Meal, serving as the exclusive holiday sponsor. Together, we have the power to break the cycle and end hunger in our communities.
