About

The Boise Blues Society presents the annual Boise Blues Festival. This year they're celebrating 25 years of bringing blues to Boise. This year is going to be bigger and better than ever with the best lineup of popular blues artists they've ever assembled! The 2017 festival includes the return of 3 of our most crowd-pleasing touring musicians of recent years, 2 of Boise's most popular local blues bands, and an 85-year-old Mississippi icon who's been playing and singing the blues for more than 70 years.

In addition to bringing great music, the Boise Blues Society will also be donating a portion of the proceeds from ticket sales to The Idaho Foodbank to help feed Idahoans struggling with hunger this summer.

This year's festival is going to be in a new location at Eagle's Reid Merrill Park (near Hilton Garden Inn) on Sunday, July 16th. Music will be playing from 1-9PM, and the gates open at 12PM. This is a great event for the whole family. There will be lots of food and drink onsite, plenty of free parking a short walk away, and an intimate lakefront setting on the Greenbelt.

Advance tickets are $25 at http://bbf2017.eventbrite.com/, and will be $30 at the gate. Children 12 and under are admitted free, and there is a playground at the park next to the stage.
