Scouting for Food – Southeast Idaho

On Saturday, October 21st, The Grand Teton Council of The Boy Scouts of America will be hosting their annual food drive, Scouting for Food. Scouts will have drop off locations all throughout Southeast Idaho to collect food for Idahoan’s facing food insecurity from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. For food safety reasons, perishable and home-canned items cannot be accepted at this event. Join the Grand Teton Council on Saturday, October 21st as they support neighbors in need during the 2023 Scouting for Food.

The McVey Entertainment group hosts a Back To School Radio-thon to promote the Backpack and School Pantry programs in North Central. TriState Health powers the day with information from their Nutrition team explaining why children need healthy food to learn. ZROCK, the River and The Canyon Radio station's DJ's talk from the talking points about Children's hunger and how the programs benefit kids in North Central. They ask listeners to check out their FACEBOOK page or deliver donations to the radio station. Goal is to raise $4000.
