Visitors from Georgia

The Idaho Foodbank recently hosted visitors from the country of Georgia at our facility in Meridian. The visit was organized by Global Ties Idaho as part of the U.S. State Department’s International Visitor Leadership Program.
During their time in Idaho, they learned about nonprofit/non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in the United States. In particular, the visitors learned more about the innovation and diversity of Idaho’s different nonprofits and NGOs. President and CEO Karen Vauk took the visitors on a tour of our Meridian warehouse and shared information about our work in the nonprofit food sector.
