We are Grateful for our Holiday Heroes in North Central Idaho
The annual Holiday Heroes event in Lewiston was a success! This multi-day event, sponsored by McVey Entertainment, was an opportunity for anyone in the community to be a holiday hero by donating funds, food, or time to help their neighbors in need. This event culminated with The Idaho Foodbank’s holiday food distribution in Lewiston just before Christmas. Over 400 families received food boxes at this distribution.
Thank you to A&B and Rosauers grocery stores and their customers for their support. We are also grateful to P1FCU for their support of Holiday Heroes as part of their Season of Giving, as well as Regence employees and Hells Canyon Grand employees. Thank you to everyone who volunteered as part of this event. It was truly a community effort to help our neighbors facing food insecurity celebrate a holiday meal.
