Whitetail Gives Back: 30 Miles, 100 Holes of Golf, and food for 80,000 Meals

The Whitetail Golf Club community recently came together for a day of golf and generosity and the results were extraordinary. The inaugural 100 Holes of Golf Fundraiser brought together Whitetail members and other supporters to help ensure Idaho families have access to nutritious food.

Max Riggs with Whitetail Golf Club, along with 6 Club members, completed 100 holes of golf. They walked 30 miles over the course of nearly 15 hours. Their determination symbolized the commitment of the entire Whitetail community to helping neighbors facing food insecurity.

People rallied behind the event, raising enough funds to provide food for more than 80,000 meals for Idahoans facing hunger. The community’s generosity not only surpassed the event’s fundraising goal but also demonstrated the incredible impact that can happen when people unite around a shared mission. As food costs continue to rise, community-driven events like the Whitetail 100 Holes of Golf Fundraiser help ensure nutritious food reaches neighbors who need it most.

To everyone who golfed, donated, volunteered, and cheered on the participants, thank you! We know that 14% of Idahoans are facing food insecurity and your generosity is building supportive communities for our neighbors who are struggling to make ends meet.
