Feeding the 5000 – Grocery Store Collection
On April 19th, grocery stores across the city will be jumping in to help host the Food Drive Collection part of the campaign. From 10:00am-4:00pm at any participating location (Both Ridley’s, Albertsons, Grocery Outlet, and Bi-Los), stop by to say hello to all the volunteers and drop off any non-perishable food items that you might have lying around!

Walmart's fifth annual nationwide "Fight Hunger. Spark Change." campaign runs from April 2 through April 30. The campaign, done in partnership with Feeding America, is targeted at helping the one in seven Idahoans who suffer from food insecurity. Proceeds are channeled through Feeding America and go directly to The Idaho Foodbank.
Customers have several ways to donate:
Purchasing store products from participating food companies such as General Mills, Kellogg, Kraft-Heinz and several other leading food companies.
Donations can be made at the register in increments of $1, $2, $5 or an amount chosen by the customer.
Making an online donation at the link below, and by using the Walmart Credit Card for transactions.

Fun Run benefiting The Idaho Foodbank goal is to raise $2,000 or 10,000 meals. A fun .5K run treated like a marathon includes warm-ups aerobics, live band and beer for those of age, with a medal at the end of race.
