We are excited to let you know that our Boise store has selected your food bank to be the recipient of a donation through our Feed A Local Family holiday food bank fundraiser.
Customers will be able to donate in 2 ways:
• Making a monetary donation at checkout (11/1 – 12/31)
• Customers will have the option to donate their bag credit to your food bank through our “Nickels for Nonprofits” bag donation program (10/1 – 12/31)

LCCU is excited to launch our holiday ham drive to help less fortunate families right here in their communities. Since 2014, we have donated nearly 4,000 hams to local families in need.

Thanks to the overwhelming support of community members like you, our program has been incredibly successful. LCCU partners with local food banks who distribute the hams to 700 families each year. Recently, however, you have probably noticed the rise of hunger in our community. That’s where you come in! LCCU is asking you to donate to the Ham-a-Palooza campaign. By donating, you will be able to help make this holiday season a little brighter (and yummier!) for local families! This year the goal is to raise as much money as possible. Please help reach the full LCCU matching amount of $4,000. The more we raise, the more families, together, we are able to feed.

Statewide drive at multiple outlets. Program would include:

- Advertising in Grocery stores
- Advertising in participating restaurants
- $2 per bottle sold donated, up to $50,000 for NW foodbanks (AK, ID, MT, OR, WA).
- Twice a year Volunteer days with distributor partners where we donate time to the foodbanks as well as do a food drive at participating grocers.

Anheuser Busch, LLC will donate $.10 for every 12 pack of larger of Michelob Ultra 12oz purchased at local Alberstons Grocery Stores, in ID to The Idaho Foodbank, up to a $3,000 donation. Program time frame: 11/1-12/31/20

It's been a rough year, and I know because of the pandemic, there will probably be an increased need for food in our community. I want to help, so for the whole month of November, I will donate $100 to the Idaho Foodbank for every oil painting sold.

I have many sizes available, but there are many that sell for just $195. For under $200, you can own an original oil painting, and also provide 500 meals for people in our community.

Paintings can be purchased online on Etsy (Etsy.com/shop/tobydavisart). I also have paintings hanging at the Capitol Contemporary Gallery on Capitol Boulevard in downtown Boise and the Gallery at Finer Frames in downtown Eagle. All links and information will be on my website - tobydavisart.com.

The City of Moscow and the Moscow Volunteer Fire Department have teamed up with The Idaho Foodbank Feed the Need Campaign by hosting a Drive Thru Food & Funds Drive! Head to City Hall or the Station 2 of the Moscow Volunteer Fire Dept. with your non-perishable items on Halloween, Oct 31. All food collected will benefit those in need in the Moscow/ Latah Community via local Idaho Foodbank partners.

Join us for one of the largest food drives in East Idaho! Our local community food banks are in desperate need of food donations to help feed families in our area. Help us fill our local food banks. Sign up in your geographical area to collect food in your neighborhood and deliver it to your local drop off sites.

Albertsons Turkey Bucks promotion. At selected Albertsons locations, consider making a donation at the cash register. Albertsons partners with The Idaho Foodbank, and 100% of the money donated goes towards purchasing holiday dinners for our local families in need.

The 7th Annual Race for the Steaks, hosted by the Idaho Beef Council, is now Raising the ‘Steaks’ on Nutrition and Health with registration fees equally supporting the Beef Counts program benefitting The Idaho Foodbank and the Treasure Valley YMCA with $20 going to each organization. The Beef Counts program provides a much needed, high quality protein for food insecure Idahoans.

Like many community events, this annual race which typically ends with a delicious steak dinner at the finish line, will be scheduled with runners participating virtually in Point 5k / 5k / 10k distance options, and completing their course October 19 -24 with a results reporting deadline of October 25.
