Scouting for Food 2021 – Treasure Valley and Beyond
Scouting for Food is one of Idaho’s largest annual food drives hosted by Boy Scouts of America and is scheduled for Saturday, November 13. Volunteers across the Treasure, Magic, and Wood River Valley will pick up bags of food from designated neighborhoods, as well as staff several drop off locations to collect food.
The main drop off location is The Idaho Foodbank warehouse in Meridian. Other locations:

Union School Rock-A-Thon

The Union School (Nampa) Rock-A-Thon is a charity fundraiser where all the 301’s from Biff Hall's class ask for pledges from sponsors (friends, family, neighbors and businesses) to see how long they can rock in a rocking chair. All the money raised will be given to the Idaho Foodbank. This is a project for our class to give back to our community.

Progressive Dinner: March 11th beginning at 5:30pm.

Mark your calendar for December 3rd, because the Santa Fun Run is happening at the Twin Falls Visitors Center at the Perrine Bridge. The Pocatello Art's Council along with the ISU Arts department are excited to hold its 4 Annual Pocatello Empty Bowls event Friday, December 2nd, 2022. This event benefiting the Idaho Foodbank, will be held at Westside Players Warehouse.
Beautiful handmade bowls will be there for you to choose from. Along with the purchase of a bowl, you will be able to enjoy your choice of soups, locally made bread, and beverages for dinner. Westside Players will also be selling adult beverages if you're so inclined.
Entertainment will also be provided by local musicians. We will also have the pleasure of providing awards to Pocatello artists recognizing them and their talent.

Holiday Heroes

McVey Entertainment- Holiday Heroes gives the community an opportunity to donate funds/food and volunteer to help put together food boxes for a food distribution in Lewiston. This campaign is a multi-day in person and a month long online fund drive event. The purpose is to raise enough money at the registers at Rosauers and online to purchase food bags for holiday meals. These food bags/boxes will be distributed at the fair building the week of Christmas.
