About

This is the Treasure Valley’s second-largest annual food drive, is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 14, 2020. The Scouts along with food bank staff pantry partners and volunteers will be out to collect the food hungry Idahoans will need this winter. To donate to the Scouting for Food Drive, donors can leave non-perishable and canned food in bags near the front door of their home. Scouting for Food takes place on two consecutive weekends. On the first weekend, Scouts distribute bags and/or door hangers to let their neighbors know about the drive. On the second, Scouts revisit those houses to pick up bags full of canned food, cereal, pasta, peanut butter, juice, and other nonperishable items.
