After we have all been navigating so many changes over the last two years due to the pandemic, it is a joy to recognize the consistency of one of our volunteer groups in Pocatello. It is with sincere gratitude that we highlight the Lookout Credit Union Call Center team for their continued support!
As we celebrate Earth Day, it is a great time to reflect on the impact of food waste. Twenty-one percent of the volume in our landfills is food waste. Nearly 40 percent of all food in the United States is wasted. That is where our Food Rescue program comes in.

March is National Nutrition Month®! This year we joined the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics in Celebrating a World of Flavors. The Idaho Foodbank prioritizes the distribution of nutritious food for meals, the promotion of nutrition education and supports making the healthy choice the easy choice.
University of Idaho (U of I) students in the Hydroponics club are working with the Lapwai Food Pantry to install a hydroponic green wall. Hydroponics is a method of growing plants without soil.
Thank you to all the sporting organizations who participated in this year’s Sportsmen Against Hunger event in Chubbuck. This event raised enough support to provide food for almost 15,000 meals for Idahoans struggling with food insecurity.
