Help feed 1 in 8 hungry Idahoans by making a donation to a community food drive this holiday season.
Albertsons is a critical part of the hunger relief team year-round but we can’t say thank you enough for this donation at last night’s BSU Bronco game of $20,000! All season Albertsons pledged $500 (that will provide food for up to 2500 meals!) per BSU sack – and then they decided to throw in a little bit more to help as much as possible!
This year’s Stomp Out Hunger campaign runs from November 15 through November 25 at all Stinker Stores in Idaho. Donate $1.00 with your purchase and Stinker will match it! Just $1 can help provide the food for 5 meals for hungry Idahoans. Stores will be competing to raise the most funds, with a celebration of the final gift coming at the end of the month.
We need food! The North Central branch of The Idaho Foodbank must provide food for more than 300,000 meals this holiday season. Families, children and seniors need our support. You can help by joining with several community organizations and businesses in the Lewiston area for the this 5-county food and fund drive running the entire month of November.
Scouting for Food , the Treasure Valley’s second-largest annual food drive, is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 9, 2019. Boy Scouts along with food bank staff pantry partners and volunteers will be out collecting the food hungry Idahoans will need this winter. In addition to pick-ups, there are drop-off locations at The Idaho Foodbank and The Boy Scout Office on Franklin.
Donate a frozen turkey and Les Schwab will match it!
