New Facility Houses Fresh Produce

These carrots are just a small portion of the tons of fresh produce filling our new warehouse in Lewiston. The carrots, potatoes, apples and other fresh items are on their way to the pantries and families which need them the most. The new facility has upgraded to more refrigerator and freezer space to enable more produce to head to north central Idahoans than ever before.

Micron Employees Donate More Than 1,200 Turkeys And Hams

Micron provides employees an annual holiday gift (choice of ham or turkey) in appreciation of their hard work throughout the year. Since 2001, many employees have chosen to donate their hams/turkeys to families through The Idaho Foodbank. This year’s donation brings the 15-year total to more than 23,000 turkeys and hams for Idaho families.

Finally on the other side: Debby’s story

Debby is no stranger to hardship. As a young girl, her mother was sent to prison and she went to live with her grandparents. A rebellious teen, she ended up living on the streets eating out of dumpsters and turning to food banks for extra help. Today, at age 39, she’s hoping she’s finally made it to the “other side”, a time when she can put her past behind her and look to the future.
